My baby is 3 weeks old and somebody gave me a jogging stroller. Now let me say first im not planning on ever going jogging. Im just wondering if this stroller is safe it has a neck support in it but other than that it seems a little non supportive for a newborn, you also cant lay it back, the baby has to almost sit. What do you think?

I wouldn’t use it till about 3 months.

Who is the manufacturer? If you know that, you can go to their website and see the age recommendations.

I would try to find the manufacturer recommendations online, if you don’t have them. Personally I would not put a child that can’t sit-up on it’s own in one.

I own a BOB revolution jogger. The store I bought it from explained to me that I shouldn’t use it until the baby has good head and neck control – around 3 to 4 months.

Well my friend used one for her newborn baby and her baby is now 18 months old and she is fine. So im sure it would be fine just dont jog down bumpy roads

I had one with my first but I didn’t use it until she could sit up and hold her head up – like 4ish months old. (I’m just guessing based on my memory). I do think it did allow me to strap in the infant seat though. Mine was the Eddie Bauer one, I got it at target. Yea I did strap in the infant car seat carrier and used that with her until she was old enough to sit up. I would check to see if that feature is available.
