How long were your first few cycles after stopping birth control?

I was on the pill for 5+ years and stopped Jan 10 of this year. My first cycle off was 47 days long. I’m on cycle day 7 now and hoping this one will be shorter. I’m wondering: assuming you didnt get pregnant, how did your cycle length adjust in the first few months. Ex. Cycle 1: 42 days Cycle 2: 35 days Cycle 3: 29 days.

Thanks for the input!

My longest cycle was 41 days, and my shortest was 35. I had to go on Clomid to get my hormones balanced again. My doc doesn’t really know why my hormones were off, but they were long for 5 months.

My periods have always been so crazy… When I got off BC, I didnt get a period for 7 months… I had to go see my doctor and get put on Provera with the hopes my period would start up normally.. I spent the next two years with either no period at all for months, or a 4 week period from hell…

My first cycle was 53 days, on my second and its day 21 no signs of anything so far. Keeping my fingers crossed it all goes well. My doc wants me to come in for an ultra sound because they think I may have PCOS or endometriosis. I am going in for the ultra sound but feel its too soon off of birth control to really know what is happening with my body.
