How long will cycling my 55 gallon take?
I want to move my pleco in from my hospital tank to the 55 gallon asap, approx. how long will the cycling take if I add bacteria(from accessories and water), or even the whole filter from my old 1 year running tank to this one?
Adding all those accessories will rapidly speed of cycling the tank. But it depends if your going to cycle it with fish or by bottled bacteria. With all those accessories I would add 25% of you old tank water into the new tank and give it 2 days and you should be perfectly fine.
