Jogging question: What kind of clothes do you wear in the rain?

I just started jogging on a regular basis, and I’m about to start my 3rd week in a running clinic. It is going to rain tomorrow and I have never jogged in the rain. What sort of clothes do you wear to jog in the rain? What materials do you want to avoid (I hear cotton isn’t so great, but what sort of synthetics?) do you layer? I should also mention it is supposed to be about 10 degrees Celsius tomorrow.

Make sure your shoes have plenty of traction, rain can make everything slippery.
